Eve Aronoff: How it all started

I always felt like a New Yorker. As a kid which

grandma I was visiting was a matter of which part of

queens we were driving to. My family was apart of two

different New York cultures.

My dad Phil’s parents grew up in Brooklyn and met at

synagogue. Him and his brother grew up in Washington

Heights and attended Yeshiva.

My mom Kristen’s parents were from different

neighborhoods. Her mom grew up in the Bronx and father

in Chelsea. My mom,her brother and sister grew up

in Queens.

My parentd both lived in Manhattan and met in fire

Island. They had a New york Wedding and my sister was

born in the city. I was born in Yonkers and grew up

in Hasting On Hudson, New York.
